This article is about the explanation and analysis of imagination in Suhrawardi's thought and has been done with the aim of explaining and analyzing the background of what imagination is and also Suhrawardi's specific point of view. The method of this research is theoretical in terms of theoretical purpose but library in terms of data collection. Suhrawardi, the founder of the school of illumination in the Islamic world, has added a leaf to the office of philosophical thought with innovative ideas and has raised new issues. Suhrawardi sees the imagination as a manifestation of imaginary perceptual forms that the soul of those forms finds separate in the world of example. He considers the power of fear, imagination and imagination as one, and in other words, it is a power with three functions; In this research, Suhrawardi's view on imagination has been explained, analyzed and criticized, and it has been concluded that the imagination project existed before Suhrawardi and he has almost gone the way of his predecessors, and his innovation is based on his ontological foundations. That imagination is the manifestation of imaginary forms.
