The discussion of medicine, Islamic medicine and traditional medicine is one of the topics that has a long history. The deadly corona virus revived the plot of such debates. This research uses descriptive-analytical and documentary methods to analyze the subject of Islamic and traditional medicine, emphasizing the views of Professor Allameh Mesbah Yazdi. The findings of the research indicate that from the perspective of Professor Mesbah, what is called "Islamic medicine" today is in fact the "traditional medicine"; Because the premise of this is that what is known as Islamic medicine or the medicine of the Prophet, that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has brought something new, but what exists in this regard, is what has come down to us from the physicians of ancient Greece. . And this new achievement will not be the result of Islamic medicine. Of course, Muslims need to try to use the science, thinking and experiences of traditional medicine within the framework of Islam. One of the ways to revive traditional medicine and the development of modern medicine is to use traditional medicine in modern medicine. In addition to being utilized and equipped with modern science and new medical knowledge, we must not lag behind other developed countries in this field.
