Abstract:   (1244 Views)
A look at the Shiite hadith writings shows that medicine and physical health is one of the topics that has attracted the attention of some students of Imams and Shiite scholars and has paved the way for compiling books on this subject or devoting parts of a hadith book to this category. Unfortunately, we have been received only a few works entitled "Kitab al-Tebb" among the books of Shiite hadith, and this issue has made definitive judgment about Islamic medicine - which it has today became a serious challenge in scientific circles and is sometimes considered as a conflict between science and religion – difficult. However, the structural and content study of these few books and the critique of the authenticity and signification of medical narrations can provide an overview of this issue. The present article intends to enumerate a list of Shiite medical hadith works, and examines the methods of compiling hadiths in such works, especially the book "Teb al-Imams" one of the works of the 4th century AH, which has some special privileges. The results of the research show that the authors of Shiite hadith books have looked at medical narrations as well as other subjects and have collected documentary and undocumented hadiths, correct and weak hadiths, etc in this regard. Therefore, such narrations should also be studied and analyzed away from any excessive sensitivity or exaggeration, such as jurisprudential or interpretive hadiths.
