The role of disease prophylaxis is more important than its treatment. Those who recognize the disease and its consequences never expose themselves to the risk of it. But the unknowing people with ignorance, endanger themselves and threaten the health of those around them. The recognition of "sin disease” which is the deadliest of all diseases, is essential for everyone. Surely "sin disease" is more dangerous than all of the diseases, and if other diseases threaten only one member of the body, the "sin disease" destroys the health of the body and spirit, and the material and spiritual life of man. The aim of this review was to investigate the sin and its negative consequences. Conclusion: From the point of view of the Qur'an and the narrations, the spiritual effects and consequences of sin include falling into the abyss of delusions and ignorance of God. The psychological consequences of sin include grudge and jealousy, affliction, suspicion and revelations of faults. The physical consequences of sin include anxiety, lust, and short-lived human life and death. Ultimately, the social consequences of sin are disturbing the balance of society and creating class divisions and the appearance of poverty and famine, and the appearance of hatred between individuals and as a result of delinquency in society.
