Purpose: A cursory look at the Holy Qur'an awakens the consciousness of every human being to try to understand its meanings. All people, regardless of their level of understanding and scientific and spiritual levels, can participate in meditation. Considering the importance of the role of faculty members in the society, this study was conducted with the aim of describing the experiences of medical faculty members from research and meditation in the Holy Quran.
Materials and Methods: qualitative content analysis method was used in this study. Sampling based on the purpose and by conducting in-depth interviews, with a sample size of 16 people and 20 interviews, saturation of information was obtained.
Findings: The data were obtained from 20 interviews with 16 participants. In this study, after analyzing the data, four main central categories appeared, which included: moving towards research in the Qur'an about physical health (the need to study the Qur'an, the need to refer to the hadiths of the innocent in addition to the Qur'an, the Qur'an and science, motivation and Conducting research in the Qur'an, recommending research, benefits of research), commitment in perceptions (recommendation for deep thinking, empowerment, avoiding bias, avoiding superficiality and simplistic thinking, false beliefs and harms, rationality and attention), towards spirituality and Perfection (achieving the knowledge of God, the goal of physical health, achieving perfection, guidance), in search of healing in the Qur'an (research on the healing of the Qur'an, personal experiences in the healing of the Qur'an, direct mention of healing in the Qur'an, personal views on the healing of the Qur'an, spiritual healing in the Qur'an).
Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that the faculty members of the University of Medical Sciences, the need for research in the Qur'an and its importance, the commitment to correct and deep understandings of the Qur'an, to achieve spirituality and perfection by meditating on the Qur'an, and research and search for healing. They had experienced the Qur'an physically and spiritually. It is hoped that by thinking and meditating on the Quran, we will use its infinite sea and be effective in spreading Islamic teachings
