Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the recognition of the legitimacy of eye sores from the perspective of Quran, narrations and medical knowledge.
Materials and Methods: The study method in this study was descriptive and analytical.
Findings: According to the findings, the analysis of the teachings and study of Islamic sources, including the Holy Quran and hadiths, showed that the existence of such a force was true and its superstition was explicitly denied. On the other hand, according to physiological studies, this force can be related to brain radiation. As in the physics of Guiton’s epilepsy.
Conclusion: The results showed that the Holy Qur’an considers the remembrance of God to be effective in counteracting and repelling such a force and the narrations have provided solutions in this regard, some of which have been confirmed by medical knowledge.
