Abstract
The purpose of this study is to review the effect of spirituality and religion on the immune system. After searching the available databases, using appropriate Persian and English keywords, 109 articles in Persian and English were collected; Among these, 31 articles that had the most relevance to the research topic were reviewed.
The collected sources are related to the years 2000 to 2020. According to studies, the positive effect of spirituality and religion on the immune system is undeniable. According to the results of the present study, it is recommended to use the positive effects of spirituality therapy and approaches based on religion, religion and religious beliefs in clinical wards so that health psychologists and hospital staff can make the most of the impact of spirituality and religion on Immune system and physical health should take a positive step in order to prevent people from getting various diseases and ultimately cure patients as soon as possible and reduce treatment costs.
